The Benaraby State School Country Fair is one of the community’s largest events of the year and has been held each August since 1990. Aug 13th : Helidon Heritage Fair

This year's Helidon Heritage Fair will be held at the Helidon Cricket Grounds, corner of Arthur and George Streets Helidon on August 13. The grand parade will assemble on the northern end of Railway Street at 9.00am. Parade will lead off at 9.30am, proceeding right into Turner Street, left over the railway line on Mary MacKillop Street, right into Arthur Street, then left on to the fair grounds. Redeemer Fair is the major fundraiser of the Redeemer Lutheran College Parents and Friends Association. Redeemer Fair has become a major event for the local community attracting an estimated 8,000 people each year. Oct 21st : Toowong Hands and Hearts Fair

Toowong State School is holding the Hands and Hearts Fair to celebrate the cultural diversity and and uniqueness of our school. Not only do students from over 40 cultures attend our school, but we run a nationally recognised Auslan/English program for deaf and hearing children. This year fair showcases a stage show with live music and performance, an International Eat Street, Beach Bar, Preloved Market, Cake Stall, rides and raffles, craft market, and much more! Oct 21st : Crows Nest Day

Crows Nest Day is part of the Crows Nest Festival week of community activities. The program starts at 7am with a fun run, then all day entertainment, music, dance displays, children's activities and finally the fireworks. Food will be available including a spit roast dinner. There will be a licensed bar, drinks, tea and coffee also available. You can enjoy many stalls selling handcrafts, gifts and more and there will be competitions including whip cracking, crow calling, hay stacking, tyre stacking, picnic races and a tug of war. Worm races for trained earthworms conclude with the world championship Grand Old Crow Cup - Centenary Park, Charlotte Street - Crows Nest.

Oct 27th : Pumicestone State School Twilight Fete

Pumicestone State School Twilight Fete is holding their first ever fete on Friday, October 27 and it will be HUGE! Spend the afternoon browsing the stalls that will be run by our classes offering a variety of activities, games, novelty goods for sale & Face painting. Purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win some great prizes. There will be rides available with armbands able to be pre purchased on the day or before. Nov 4th : Brisbane Convoy for Kids

The Annual Brisbane Convoy for Kids winds its way along the Logan Motorway, Gateway and Deagon Deviation before crossing in to Redcliffe where it will travel along the waterfront and finally end at the Redcliffe Showgrounds. After a hectic day everyone can chill out and spend a relaxing evening at our concert. There's carnival rides, food, drinks, a Ute and Truck Show plus much more.
