The Geeveston Primary School Fair is an event not to be missed! It will be a full day offering lots of stalls games, craft, food, cakes, silent aution, pony rides and slippery slide plus more! November 25 - Deloraine Show
Horses, Poultry, Wood Chopping, Home Industries, Cattle, Sheep Judging and Side Show Alley. Come one, come all to the Deloraine Show and celebrate Tasmania’s primary industries and enjoy the breeder competitions, industry displays, side-show rides and show bags. The Deloraine Agricultural Show will include showing horses and poultry, wood chopping and home industries, cattle and sheep judging and of course the side shows. Sideshow rides will keep the “bigger kids” entertained. There will be a huge range of show bags full of chocolates, sweets, toys and novelties. December 1 to 2 - Devonport Show
The Devonport Show offers fun for the entire family, including carnival rides, prizes to be won, family entertainment and even fireworks. The show runs for two days and brings in people from all across the North West Coast and even statewide. This year's show will include a Betta Milk Food and Farming Show, which will have displays and interactive activities from agricultural companies and local farming producers, as well as a Fine Food & Wine Court. December 28 to January 3 - Taste of Tasmania
Tasmania’s most popular and enduring summer event, The Taste of Tasmania returns to Hobart’s waterfront in December 2017/ January 2018. Seafood, cheeses, berries, cool-climate wines, boutique beers and ciders and much more, representing regions from right around the state, are on offer at stalls located both inside the Princes Wharf No.1 shed, and outside. The majestic River Derwent, Hobart’s historic wharves and Salamanca Place provide a stunning backdrop to this annual celebration of quality Tasmanian produce and local talent. A highlight is the Kids in the Park area on Parliament House Lawns, where free daily programs of cooking classes, performances, sporting activities, art and craft, face painting and a nightly Twilight Cinema keep children of all ages busy. A Tasmanian-focused entertainment program includes live bands, roving street performers and buskers, while the program also features free cooking demonstrations and ticketed Food Tours and Tasting Table sessions - Princes Wharf Shed No. 1, Sullivans Cove, Hobart TAS
January 26 - Cider Trail and Fruit Wine Festival
The annual Cider Trail and Fruit Wine Festival is one event not to be missed!
