Come down to the Mooloolaba Wharf on Australia Day weekend and celebrate in style with the MooloolaBaBQ Festival. This event will showcase some of the best barbecue cooks in Australia with competitions, great food and amazing views. The MooloolaBaBQ celebrates the things that are great in Australia by holding a huge barbecue competition with a variety of food and flavours. Ten teams will battle in various competitions for the Australian Barbecue Championships with over $6000 in cash and prizes. From chicken to seafood, beef to pork, there will be many styles of cooking on display including smoked, grilled, roasted or on a spit, there will be heaps of yummy foods to sample. You will be able to buy food from the many food trucks that will line the streets which will sell sliders, German sausages, ribs, burgers and skewered meats.
