January 1 to 31 - Festival of Busselton

The Festival of Busselton is held every January throughout the City of Busselton. Events range from outdoor cinemas, a log chop, children's treasure hunt and chalk art competition, float parade, sand castle competition, a fishing clinic and many more community events, almost all of which are free or request just a gold coin donation. Our most popular event is Petticoat Lane when Busselton's CBD is closed for the evening and up to 8000 people scan the 200 stalls for bargains or food. Our free Closing Night Concert features great stage entertainment with a spectacular fireworks display to bring an end to the major Festival events. January 26 - Australia Day Mandurah

Join us on Australia Day for Mandurah's largest annual Citizenship Ceremony. Head to the foreshore between 7am - 9am to enjoy a $6 cooked Aussie breakfast thanks to the Lions Club of Mandurah and live music thanks to the Mandurah Concert Band. The official ceremony starts at 8.30am with the winners for the Citizen of the Year Awards announced, followed by the welcoming of over 100 new citizens who will take their oath to become Australia’s newest citizens. The City of Bunbury’s SkyFest Australia Day Celebrations will be held on Friday 26 January 2018 at Bicentennial Square and Graham Bricknell Music Shell. Coogee Live will bring the Coogee coast to life with a three-day event that will stretch along more than 1km of shoreline between Ngarkal Beach at Port Coogee and Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Directional signage designed to bring out the curious explorer in all of us, will guide visitors on a journey never before seen in Perth. This self-guided trail will play host to a range of events that will appeal to a wide audience.
